Meet the Team
Susana founded Keynotes in 2000 after 15 years in English and Spanish journalism. Under her leadership, the company has grown continuously and become known for providing its clients highly professional, reliable services that, thanks to its editorial expertise, go beyond conventional agency work. As a reporter for The Miami Herald and several other newspapers, she covered local, national and international news, and specialized in Cuban rafters’ immigration to the U.S. She has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Mississippi and studied liberal arts at the University of Lima, Peru. She is a volunteer refugee tutor.

Rosamaría Graziani
A linguist, Rosamaria has been Keynotes’ senior Spanish editor since 2004. She taught Spanish at Yale University and specialized in advanced grammar and composition. She has also taught at Indiana University-Purdue at Fort Wayne, the University of Texas at Austin and the Catholic University of Lima, Peru. She has English and Spanish translation credentials from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, a degree in liberal arts and a law degree from the Catholic University in Lima, Peru, and an M.A. in Spanish and French from the University of Texas at Austin, where she also completed her doctoral coursework in romance linguistics. She’s the director of Academia Latina, a school for immigrants.
English Editor & Translator
Jeffrey M. Evatt
Jeff, at Keynotes since 2011, is its senior English editor and translator. He has decades of experience in translation, editing, proofreading and content development. He has taught Spanish in the classroom and online at Austin Community College, the University of Texas and Louisiana State University. Jeff has M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Spanish literature and a B.A. in computer sciences, all from the University of Texas at Austin. He has taken courses at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí. He has also studied the Mayan language K’iche’ in Guatemala.
